Pensions Underfunded. Report Censored

Steve Malanga, in today's Wall Street Journal, details the debate on calculating government liabilities in pension accounting. The American Academy of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries have gone so far as to shut down a 14-year old task force set to publish their findings on overly optimistic state and local pension calculations.
